Programs & Services
PCAT programs are provided directly or in collaboration with community partners across Tennessee to strengthen families and reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.
- Nurturing Parenting Classes reduce abuse and neglect and help families deal with parenting while battling substance abuse.
- Parent Leadership provides training and technical assistance support to community based child abuse prevention programs throughout the state surrounding building parent voices in their programs.
- Parent Pathway (Healthy Families Tennessee) offers in home parent coaching, support and information to expectant parents and families of newborns through in home visits.
- Home Visitation Collaboration is a coordinated effort among home visitation programs across the state to address increasing positive outcomes for families involved in home visitation.
- Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention works with hospitals, in home visitation program, and early child care centers to help parents learn to cope with the stresses of infant crying.
- Circle of Parents is a mixture of support and education for parents, building the things that protect families and help children grow strong and healthy.
- Parent Helpline/Domestic Violence Hotline provides supportive listening, information and referral services to parents under stress and victims of domestic violence.
