Tennessee Child Abuse Prevention Network

As a follow-up to Community Child Abuse Prevention Meetings held across Tennessee, Child Abuse Prevention Networks have been developed. As a member of this Network you would receive via email, at no cost, monthly Prevention Updates from Prevent Child Abuse America and Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, monthly Advocacy Updates on issues effecting children at the national and state level and much, much more.

Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, Inc. (PCAT) is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing the abuse and neglect of Tennessee's children by working with other organizations and individuals to develop programs, services, and resources.

PCAT provides training for professionals and parents and directs the activities of community volunteers. We provide primary prevention programs, parent support programs, public education, and advocacy. Our programs include Parent Pathway, Nurturing Parent Education classes, Circle of Parents, Kids Don’t Come With Instructions, Parent Helpline/Domestic Violence Hotline, and ongoing public awareness efforts including the April Child Abuse Prevention Month Campaign.
