Domestic Violence Helpline Specialist - Part Time - NASHVILLE, TN
The Domestic Violence Helpline Specialist is responsible for responding to incoming calls on the Tennessee Domestic Violence Helpline and the Parent Helpline from victims, advocates, police officers, hospital staff, parents, public and service providers. Helpline Specialists provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, information and problem solving to all callers. This position requires a high level of empathy and sensitivity to all incoming inquiries. The Tennessee Domestic Violence Helpline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
