Home Visitors in the Healthy Families TN program are responsible for building trusting relationships with families and utilizing this connection to support families in identifying strengths and barriers, accessing resources and obtaining the knowledge and skills to achieve their goals. The Domestic Violence Helpline Specialist is responsible for responding to incoming calls on the Tennessee Domestic Violence Helpline and the Parent Helpline from victims, advocates, police officers, hospital staff, parents, public and service providers. DVHS will provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, information and problem solving to all callers.
