Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, Inc. (PCAT) is a non-profit agency dedicated to preventing the abuse and neglect of Tennessee's children by working with other organizations and individuals to develop programs, services, and resources. PCAT provides training for professionals and parents and directs the activities of community volunteers. We provide primary prevention programs, parent support programs, public education, and advocacy. Our programs include Parent Pathway, Nurturing Parent Education classes, Circle of Parents, Kids Don’t Come With Instructions Parent Helpline/Domestic Violence Hotline, and ongoing public awareness efforts including the April Child Abuse Prevention Month Campaign.
