Pinwheels for Prevention
The PINWHEELS has become a national symbol for child abuse and neglect
and reminds us that every child deserves a happy and healthy childhood.
The PINWHEELS can be carried, given out at events, planted as a lawn
display, lined up along a sidewalk or pathway, or used in any number of
ways to raise awareness of how important the choices we make are to the
well being of our children.
PINWHEELS will represent this theme as we live it out across the entire
state in many different ways including health fairs, community events,
candlelight vigils, school projects, and others.
