Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, a state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, has been preventing the abuse and neglect of Tennessee’s children for 25 years. We believe in valuing children, strengthening families, and engaging communities. We are a family of friends, professionals, volunteers, donors and parents who are preventing child abuse and neglect before it ever starts.

PCAT has developed a prevention network throughout the state of Tennessee, and continues to educate the public about the prevalence of child abuse and their role in child abuse prevention. We facilitate the development and support of community-based programs throughout the state. PCAT is headquartered in Nashville with a presence in all 95 counties of the state. PCAT services are available in English and Spanish.
